  Maggie Rowland 16 December 1877 - 21 December 1958 Doss Rowland 17 May 1870 - 15 August 1955 The Denison Press Friday, January 2, 1959 pg. 4 Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Rowland, 82, of Pottsboro, were held at the Pottsboro Church of Christ Tuesday, December 23, J.F. Wall officiated and interment was in Georgetown Cemetery with Bratcher Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Rowland, native of Grayson County, who had lived in Pottsboro most of her life, died in a local hospital, Sunday, December 21, after fourteen years of ill health. She was born December 16, 1877, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Looney, and was married August 24, 1894 to John Doss Rowland, now deceased. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are two brothers, M.J. Looney and E.C. Looney of Pottsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Chiles and Mrs. Edna Jones, Pottsboro, Mrs. Jewel Goldsmith, Dallas.
