Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Bratcher-Moore chapel for J.M. Jackson, 75, of Jackson, Mississippi, who died in a Denison hospital Sunday after a three-months illness.  Rev. Frank Rowe officiated and burial was in Georgetown Cemetery.
Jackson was born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi October 8, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Jackson.  He attended school there and was married in 1896 to Miss Ethel Moore.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, L.B. Jackson, Greenville; five daughters, Mrs. Hobert Ogle, Denison; Mrs. J.E. Coffey and Mrs. W.H. Coffey of Pottsboro; Mrs. Dee Stewart, Dallas; and Mrs. Lee Vern Hatcher, Oskaloosa, Iowa; one brother; two sisters; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
