Zedler 19 April 1928 - 9 November 2009 wed 7 April 1950  Dallas Morning News December 9, 2012 GARLAND- Byron Crosby Zedler, 83, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Baylor Hospital Garland. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Georgetown Cemetery, Cemetery Rd, Pottsboro, TX 75076 with Rev. Carl Bilderback officiating. Byron was born Saturday, March 2, 1929 to Charles and Rubye McKensie Zedler in San Antonio, Texas. He married Nelda June Bilderback in Denison in 1950. He was in the Army Air Force and served in Germany during WWII and assisted in the Berlin Air Lift, a member of the Masonic Lodge, operator and owner of Zedler Auto Supply in Garland, avid camper and very proud of his grandchildren. He is survived by sons George E. Zedler of Dallas, Texas, David Zedler and wife Kris of Pottsboro, Texas; five grandchildren Andrea Neal, Valerie Zedler, David P. Zedler, Robert Zedler and Rebecca Zedler. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Nelda June Zedler in 2009. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to American Cancer Society The Herald Democrat November 11, 2009 DENISON - Nelda June Zedler, 81, passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center in Garland. Nelda was born on April 19, 1928 in Wichita Falls, the daughter of Lloyd Thomas and Ethel (Authur) Bilderback. She moved to Denison at an early age and grew up attending schools and graduating from Denison High School in 1945. Nelda started working for Kraft Foods in Denison, transferring to Garland after she married Byron Zedler in 1950 in Denison. Nelda was a member of the Church of Christ in Garland, and loved to go camping. Nelda is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Byron of Garland; sons, George E. Zedler of Dallas, and David (wife Kris) of Pottsboro; grandchildren, Andrea, Valerie, David, Robert and Rebecca. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harold and Glen Bilderback. Family night will be from 6 -7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard Ave., Denison. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Georgetown Cemetery with Carl Bilderback officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
