DENISON - Robert Charles Walker Sr., 82, entered into eternal life Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Robert served his country proudly during the Korean War, and continued his service for 20 years before retiring. He later worked for 22 years as a clerk for the MKT Railroad. Bob worked hard and provided for his families' every need, but his true pleasure was found in his family game time.
Bob and Geneva bowled numerous nights a week for many years, he would dance with her whenever he could, he loved throwing darts with his son, going fishing at Lake Texoma, croquette as a family in the backyard, and every board game that was available was how he taught his family to have a good time. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning his harvest and sharing it with friends and family. In his later years, Bob and Geneva enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos with their many friends.
Bob is survived by his beloved family, wife of 61 years, Geneva Walker of Denison, Texas; son, Chuck Walker and wife Kelly of Denison; two daughters, Debbie Jester and husband Jim of Rowlett, Texas, and Sheila Walker of Denison; six grandchildren, Lauren Cooper, Bruce Taylor, Brook Kolarcik, Chad Clement, Tonya Walker and Sheena Hoket; 18 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Walker of Denison.
