  George Luther Cook 23 December 1887 - 21 December 1967 Olar Lee Cook 22 September 1889 - 4 October 1992 wed 19 September 1914  Ector - Graveside services for George Luther Cook, 79, who died Thursday afternoon in a Sherman hospital were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Georgetown Cemetery. Mullican-Little Funeral Home of Bells was in charge. Cook was born December 23, 1897, in Meridian. He was married September 19, 1917, in Denison. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Cook farmed in the Pottsboro area for 50 years prior to moving to the Savoy-Ector area in 1960. He is survived by his wife of Ector; two sons, Harold of Savoy and Clytis of Sherman; and 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Cook was born Sept. 22, 1889, in Meridian, daughter of John and Maggie Jane Wiggins Vick. She married George Cook Sept. 19, 1914, in Denison. A homemaker, she was a Methodist. Surviving are two sons, George C. Cook of Sherman and Harold Cook of Savoy; sister, Ruby Crow of Denison; ...grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
