Mrs. Sarah Jane Meyers, 84, resident of Grayson County many years, died at the hom eof her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Clontz, in Georgetown Friday at 7 a.m.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  Short-Murray Funeral Home was in charge and interment was in Georgetown Cemetery.
Mrs. Meyers was born in Bloomington, Indiana, January 30, 1860 as Miss Sarah Jane Hash.  She was married to W.H. Meyers May 30, 1878 in Bloomington, Indiana, and came to Texas with her husband in 1884, settling in Sherman where they lived a year before moving to Ellis County.  About 20 years ago Mrs. Meyeers moved back to the Pottsboro community where she had lived since.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are 2 sons, Sam Meyers of Grand Prairie and Jim Meyers of Gouldbusk, Texas; 2 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Clontz of Pottsboro and Mrs. Abbie Daniels of Vernon; one brother, Mack Hash, of Bloomington, Indiana; 32 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A brother, Tom Hash, died December 4, 1943.
