DENISON - Alice Rachel Adams passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel in Denison with Rev. Sharon Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Adams; son, Billy E. Adams; daughters, Alison J. Combs and Linda S. Johnson; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.


DENISON - Alice Rachel Adams passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. 
Visitation will be from 6 -7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison. 
Funeral service for Alice will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sharon Brooks officiating.  Internment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. 
Alice was born on June 8, 1933 in Poteet to Raymond Cambron and Rachel Wallace Cambron. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, whom she met at age 13. Alice and Billy Joe Adams were married on July 3, 1950 in Brady. Both served the Lord as Baptists.  
Alice was not only a homemaker and mother, she was a friend and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She went out of her way to help anyone she could and extended her kindness and loving spirit to everyone. 
Survivors include her husband and three children, all of Denison: son Billy E. Adams; daughters Alison J. Combs, Linda S. Johnson and husband Gary Van Arsdall; grandchildren Michael, Rachel, Paul, Andrew, Daniel, Christopher, Dylan, Kenneth; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, his parents Virgil and Lorina Adams, her brother Raymond Cambron Jr. and grandson Jonathan Johnson. 
Alice will be missed by all who ever knew her, but the love for her will never die. Sleep in peace and rejoice in the house of the Lord with all. 
Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
