Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Jesse E. Jackson, 50, of Rt. 1, who died Monday afternoon in a local hospital after three months of illness.  Rev. Milton Kresse officiated and interment was in Georgetown Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Grayson County August 12, 1901, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Waldrop.  She attended school in Pottsboro and was married in Pottsboro in June 1922 to Jesse E. Jackson.  She was a member of the Pottsboro Baptist church.
Aside from her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jessie Lou Jackson of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Fritz Christman of Hereford, Texas; and 3 brothers, E.V. Waldrop of Pottsboro; P.J. Waldrop of Sherman, and F.W. Waldrop of Denison.
