Sherman Democrat Denison Herald September 21, 1990 Pottsboro - Funeral for Garnett Dee Gill, 70 year old Pottsboro resident who died Thursday at his residence, will be held in Johnson-Moore's Pottsboro chapel. The Rev. Hugh Davis, assisted by Rev. L.A. Sublett, will officiate. Mr. Gill was born in the Hagerman community, the son of E.L. and Sarah Elizabeth Gill. On March 30, 1943, he married Irene Inez Ball, in Durant, Oklahoma. A World War II Army Air Corps veteran, he was a retired self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 62 and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his sons, Larry Don Gill and Randal Lee Gill, both of Pottsboro; daughter, Cindy Outlaw of Pottsboro; brothers, Joe Gill of Houston and E.J.
