"Granny" Doyle 22 February 1885 - 1 January 1968 wed 3 August 1918 The Denison Press Friday, December 4, 1959 pg. 6 Funeral services for William Joseph Doyle, 88, who died November 30 at 1:50 p.m. at his home, 712 W. Acheson, were conducted Wednesday by Monsgr. Thomas Zachry of St. Patrick's church. Bratcher was in charge and interment was at Calvary, Bratcher directing. Doyle had resided at his place of residence for the past 59 years. He had been ill one week. Born at Nashville, Tennessee as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Doyle, August 14, 1871, he was married August 3, 1918 at Denison to Mrs. Kathleen Workman. He was a member of St. Patrick's, a retired machinist. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Thomas L. Doyle of Denison and S.P. Workman of Denison. Also daughters surviving are Mrs. Elizabeth Collyr of Denison, Mrs. Agnes Downs of Denison and Mrs. Marie Harper of Cooper, Texas. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
