The Denison Press Friday, August 28, 1959 pg. 2 DEATHS Funeral services for Henry A. Schuelke, 93, who died August 18 at 4:25 a.m. at a local hospital, were conducted August 20 by Monsgr. T. Zachary at St. Patrick's church, interment beomg at Calvary, Bratcher Funeral Home directing. His home address was 214 W. Morton where he had resided for 53 years. He had been ill 10 months. Rosary was conducted Wednesday night at 8 at the Bratcher Funeral Home. Born December 11, 1865 at Bastrop as a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Schuelke, he recieved his schooling at Bastrop. He was married October 12, 1888 to Miss Ellen Geise at Bastrop. He was a member of St. Patrick's church. Surviving are two sons, A.R. Schuelke of New Iberie, Louisiana and Gus Schuelke of New Braunfels and a daughter, Mrs. Oliver Jones, Denison and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
