Mrs. Sarah Mimnaugh Dead
One of the noblest and most loveable women that has ever lived in Denison passed to her future reward last Sunday.  She had reached the ripe age of 70 years.  Mrs. Mimnaugh died loved and respected by all and her noble example while a resident of earth is a sufficient monument to many virtues.  Her husband, John Mimnaugh, died here in 1885.
The funeral services of Mrs. Mimnaugh were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 at St. Patrick's, Requiem Mass being sung by Rev. J.P. Maginn, who also gave an obituary that was beautiful and touched every heart.  The choir sang Requiem Mass in honor of this well loved Mother who has been so faithful to her God, her church, and her children, living here on earth a life of kindness and service to those about her, and when called to prepare a home for those she has loved so well here, going as one who has set her house in order for a journey.
Mrs. Mimnaugh leaves four children to mourn her loss: Mrs. Jas. Hennessy of Texarkana; Mrs. W.A. Davidson of Amarillo; Miss Katherine Mimnaugh and Dan J. Mimnaugh, all of whom passed their childhood here and have many friends who sympathize deeply with them in their hour of sorrow.  The school children out of respect to the mother of their teacher, Miss Katherine, attended the funeral in a body, bringing beautiful floral offerings.
