The Denison Press Friday, May 10, 1957 pg. 2 Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, May 7, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for G.B. McKinney, Sr., 77, of 11 Parnell. Monsgr. Thomas Zachry officiated and interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Bratcher Funeral Home in charge. McKinney, a retired Katy passenger brakeman, died at St. Mary's Rest Home, 427 E. Maple. Deceased was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas March 8, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McKinney. He was married in June 1911 to Miss Esther Bate. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the B of RT, the Elks Club and the Eagles Lodge. Survivors are his widow; a son, G.B. McKinney, Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. Stinson Hatfield, both of Denison; a brother, J.E. McKinney of Weatherford; and 2 grandchildren.
