PATRICK FARRELL MALLOY
For the third time in three years death has entered the home of Mrs. Anne Malloy and taken one of her children in the very prime of life.
On last Sunday morning at 7 a.m. Patrick Farrell Malloy breathed his last, at the family home, 1014 W. Munston street, after a long illness of eight months, from lung trouble superinduced by an injury received while a brakeman on the M. K. & T. in May last year when he was hurt at the lower yards.
All that loving ministrations of a devoted mother and sisters could do was done to alleviate his sufferings, and the end was peaceful and free from pain.  Those who surrounded his death bed could hardly realize that death had really claimed the son and brother, so peaceful was his going.
Patrick Farrell Malloy was born at Leavenworth, Kansas, March 6, 1881, and came with his parents to Denison fourteen years ago and as soon as he was old enough entered the employe of the M. K. & T. as a brakeman.  He was a devoted son and brother and a true friend to all who knew him.  A faithful Catholic, he died as he lived, true to the teachings of the church and happy in the reception of the last sacraments administered by Fr. Hutcheson of St. Joseph's church.
Beside the mother, Mrs. Anne Malloy, he leaves to mourn his loss one brother and four sisters, Mr. Mike Malloy of Leavenworth, Kansas; Mrs. H.K. Hedges of Fort Scott, Kansas; Mrs. James Petty and Misses Annie and Kate Malloy of this city; the latter with their mother was at the bedside when death came.
Mr. and Mrs. Hedges and an uncle Mr. Charley Malloy of Atchison, Kansas were present at the funeral, which was held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's Church, where Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr. Hutcheson.
Interment was made in Calvary cemetery beside his brother Charlie who died in El Paso on Dec. 21, 1906.
Besides the above relatives, deceased leaves many uncles, aunts and nieces and nephews.  May he rest in peace.
