Giarraputo 10 April 1911 - 3 August 1990 Herald Democrat September 28, 1990 Denison - Funeral for Mary Elizabeth Giarraputo, 88, of Denison, who died today in a local hospital will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with the Rev. Emil Slovacek officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Miss Fiarraputo was born April 17, 1902 in Denison, daughter of Anthony and Nancy Giarraputo. She attended St. Xavier's Academy. Miss Giarraputo was cashier at Tony's Palm Garden (a confectionery on Main Street) and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are three brothers, Stephen P. Giarraputo of Fresno, California, Anthony Giarraputo, Jr. of Denison and Charles Giarraputo of Sherman. Rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O. Box 2883, Sherman, Texas.
