The Denison Press Friday, November 1, 1934 pg. 1 John Mamola, 32, former Denison resident, died Wednesday night at Dallas, according to information received here Thursday by relatives, following an operation for acute appendicitis performed several days ago. Mr. Mamola lived in Denison for many years prior to moving to Dallas about five years ago. The body is being returned to Denison overland and will lie in state at Short-Murray funeral chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's church.
