WHITESBORO - Services for Glenneth Dossey Watson, 73-year-old homemaker of Baird, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Huff Funeral Home. She died Sunday at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Baird.
The Rev. H. H. "Bud" Beverly of the United Memorial Christian Church in Euless will officiate. Burial will be in Basin Springs (Grayson County).
Mrs. Watson was born in Sadler, the daughter of Grover Cleveland Dossey and Alice Tarpe Dossey. She married Reuben Gene Watson Feb. 10, 1935 in Whitesboro.
She was a member of Oxon Hill Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Oxon Hill, Md. She had lived in Oxon 26 years and had been a Baird resident since 1990.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Eddie Watson of Fort Worth, David "Dutch" Watson of Wichita Falls, Robert Watson of Baird, Travis Watson of Basye, Va., and Donald Watson of Newport News, Va.; daughters, Peggy Beck of Eastland, Mary Norseworthy of Basye, Va. and Dinah Watson of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; brother, Wayne Dossey of Sadler; sister, Lois Upchurch of Hugo, Okla.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
