Willoughby Township Records

The area now known as Willoughby Hills was the last part of the original Chagrin Township, later known as Willoughby Township, to come under municipal governance. It stands to reason then, that Willoughby Hills would have the records of the township. The following are the records that can be found at the Willoughby Hills City Hall, 35405 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, OH 44092. The numbers on the volumes were placed by Little Red Schoolhouse, as they were stored there for some years.

Additionally, there is a very early Township Trustees Minutes Book at Western Reserve Historical Society which includes many of the early village cemetery records and a map.

Willoughby Hills Historical Society holds the following in its collection at the Willoughby Hills Community Center:

Willoughby Historical Society at Willoughby Library holds a wide variety of photos, city directories, maps, school yearbooks, and other collections.
