The facts in regard to this family are these. They are not members of any institutions of charity not poor enough for that. The towns may extend a certain amount of aid special it might be called to enable them to pull through the winter or _____ particular sickness or other trouble. They have some land or the right to the use of some which with some help from the towns and neighbors they manage to live. I hesitate to about mentioning them as paupers at all. They are only partially paupers anyway. Or perhaps in contemplation of the census law they are not paupers. I am very sorry the mistake occurred but really we had much to learn and a short time to learn it in.
