Nagel, Charles -Record Courier - Wednesday, January 5, 2000. Charles Dike Nagel, 36, a Wellington resident for 15 years, died at his home on Jan. 1. He was born on Sept. 19, 1963, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Charles and Martha Zabel Nagel. He was a pipe fitter for fire and sprinkler systems. Mr. Nagel enjoyed fishing, camping and his job. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father Charles in 1992. Survivors include his mother Janet Baker of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area; brother Greg Nagel of Grass Valley, Calif.; son Charles Jr. and daughter Pam, both of Sacramento; and sisters Peggy Cushman of Topaz and Tammy Nagel and Jana Simpson, both of Texas.

Nash, Doris ~ Wednesday, October 4, 2000. A graveside service was held for Doris May Nash, 75, yesterday, Oct. 3, at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden. Mrs. Nash died on Sept. 29 at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. She was born on March 3, 1925, in Grenada, Minn., to James and Lucy Rybakowski Tobin. During the '40s and '50s, Mrs. Nash was involved in Nash Lumber Co. and Nash Logging Co., family businesses in Philo, Calif. She was also active in civic and community activities while in Philo. From there, she moved to Anchor Bay, Calif., and then to Minden 10 years ago. She enjoyed all types of crafts and loved to play Gin Rummy with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband James H. Nash, who died in 1990. Surviving are her son Perry Nash of Minden and daughter Candace Watson of Redding, Calif.; brother Jimmy Tobin and sisters Helen Holcomb and Joyce Aasen, all of Minnesota; and grandchildren Dawn, Scott, Cody and Savannah.

Nino, Maureen ~ Wednesday, July 19, 2000. Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 19 for Maureen E. Nino, who died July 13, 2000, at Las Vegas, Nev. She was 58. Mrs. Nino was born Oct. 31, 1941, in California, and was a resident of Zephyr Cove, Nev., from 1976 to 1989, where she was employed by Zephyr Cove Elementary School as an office aide. She had been a resident of Las Vegas for the past 11 years. Survivors include her son, Jack Nino of Las Vegas; daughter, Christine Nino of Las Vegas; brother, Matthew Meyer of California; and sisters, Anita Smith of California and Kathleen Echart of Reno, Nev. She was predeceased by her husband, Ron Nino. Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church, Elks Point Road in Round Hill. Private inurnment is planned.

Nystrom, Bruce ~ November 13, 1999. Bruce James Nystrom, 55, a Gardnerville Ranchos resident for the past 24 years, died Nov. 8, 1999, at his residence. He was born Nov. 9, 1943, in North Hollywood, Calif., to Herbert and Jean Boston Nystrom. He married Mary Jean on May 11, 1975, in Zephyr Cove. Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Covina, Calif. Mr. Nystrom was a technical representative for Xerox for 35 years. He was a member of the Ranchos Volunteer Fire Department for 24 years, serving as president for most of those years and as chief engineer and training officer. He was a trustee and chairman of the board of Gardnerville Ranchos General Improvement District. He enjoyed his family, gardening and especially growing his own grapes and making his own wine. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean, in 1996.Among his survivors are his wife, Mary Jean (MJ) of Gardnerville; son Eric of Las Vegas; daughter Melissa Salmon of Los Alamos, N.M. and Gretchen of Gardnerville; father Herbert of Gardnerville; and two grandchildren.
