All I can recall of his office is that it was on the second floor of a building, accessed via a stairway to the left of a downstairs store. His home was the last one on the west side of a street that went south from a highway. There was a business at the highway intersection which included a small zoo on the property.

Between 1880 and 1900 is where I fall short on his personal history. During this time period he married and had two girls Minnie and Mary. Then when he arrived in Culbertson the 1900 census shows he was then married to a Mary with a son Ray E. Miller. Conrad is buried in the Culbertson Cemetery next to his mother Emma Repp and step father Henry Repp. Conrad was born 1 May 1861 in Norka, Russia and died in Culbertson 12 Jan 1920. Can anyone help me with his two marriages and children?

QRYTEXT: My gg-uncle, Anton Mikisch (with many name variations as listed) lived in Culbertson, Nebraska and ran a dairy creamery. Anton was originally from Bohemia and immigrated as teenager in 1896. He was married to Marie ? (died young) and later, to Margaret Schaffer. He moved to Culbertson (from Washington County, Colorado) by 1930 and was there until the mid-1970's -- or so I believe.
