All but one of the Colfax County Cemeteries had the tombstone information transcribed by Mrs. Clarabelle Mares and Kathrine Petersen of Fremont, Nebraska in 1976 and 1977. Roberta Vrba and Richard J. Makousky in 1975 and 1976 transcribed Dry Creek Catholic Cemetery and had it consolidated by Margie Sobotka.
