Reuben Runyan Family

Reuben (G?) Runyan was born about 1742 in Hopewell, Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He migrated to Kentucky sometime after 1781 and was living in Frankfort, Franklin County,
Kentucky in 1810. Reuben died in 1816 approximately 74 years of age. On December 24, 1767, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, Reuben married Mary Gordon, born on September 9, 1750
in Monmouth County, New Jersey. She was about of 50 years of age when she died in Woodford County, Kentucky about 1800. Reuben and Mary had a family of nine known children.

Benjamin Runyan, birth unknown, died in Owen County, Kentucky about 1822. He married Lucly Long on
July 31, 1817, in Woodford County, Kentucky.

Elsey Runyan, birth unknown. She married George Royster on October 13, 1800, in Woodford County, Kentucky.

Mary Runyan, birth unknown. Mary married William Porter on July 17, 1810 in Franklin County, Kentucky

Naomi Runyan, birth unknown. She married Ebenizer Huntington in Franklin County, Kentucky on August 23, 1817.

Reuben Runyan, born about 1768 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. He married Anna Watson, born
about 1775 , about 1801 in Woodford County, Kentucky. Anna died about 1811 in Fayette County, Kentucky. Rueben
was living in Owen County, Kentucky in 1822. He died on August 1, 1849, in Ohio.

Sarah Runyan, was born on February 13, 1771 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She married Reuben Anderson, born
March 4, 1766 in Hopewell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on April 2, 1789 in Hunerdon County, New Jersey. Reuben
and Sarah Anderson made their home in Frankfort, Kentucky. She died on April 23, 1828 in Frankfort and is buried in
the Frankfort Cemetery. Reuben died on April 17, 1837 and is buried beside Sarah in the Frankfort Cemetery. Reuben
and Sarah had children; Charles S., Lucinda, Pamelia, Penelope, Harry Innes, Polly and Oliver Hazard Perry Anderson.

Spencer Runyan, was born about 1781 in New Jersey. Spencer married Elizabeth "Betsy" Graham on June 26, 1804
in Franklin County, Kentucky. He died after 1860 probably in St. Loius, Missouri.

Peter G. Runyan, born about 1783 and was living in Woodford County, Kentucky in 1800. On December 7, 1799, he
married Nancy Hunt. He married his second wife, Mary "Polly" Delaney on June 23, 1810 in Boone County, Kentucky

Susan G. Runyan, born about 1786. She married George Washington Graham on April 10, 1804 in Franklin County,
Kentucky. The family lived in South Frankfort. She and George were the parents of Harriet, who married John Jay Vest.
Susan Runyan Graham died in 1849. George married second Marilda Tuper in Franklin County, Kentucky in 1854
