Goldenrod
Leaves were used to make a tea by the Colonists after dumping all the tea into the Boston Harbor. Someone brewed the leaves of the Goldenrod and it was called "Liberty Tea."
Indians used a tea of  the leaves for intestinal disorders  and the flowering tops were used for colic.
