These records were found in a trunk that had belonged to Raleigh Kilgore, a member and aa Elder in the above church. There are 57 pages to be transcribed. A descendant of Raleigh Kilgore, Audrey Mullins True copied and shared the church records.
The church was located at the mouth of the Scott Robinson Hollow 
on Indian Creek

The Church and its order

1.  We believe that the Church of Christ is composed of baptised believers and those onley have a right to the Lord’s supper or to partake. 
2.  And that officers of the Church or to constitute a church are to be two bishops four deacons and no member has aright to officiate in either of these offices until called by the church and se apart by laying on of hands by the presbytery

COVENANT

Having been constitutedbon the above principles we give ourselves to the Lord and one another in covenant promising by the assistance of divine grace towards each other as brethern in Christ to watch over one another in love and to hoald communion with each other in the work of God and especially to attend our church meetings and to contribute of our temporal things to suppoart the gospel as fare as God shall blessus thare with and live orderly in our families and hoald up the worship of God according to our several abilites we considder it disorder for any member to continew at a geathring whare thare is liquor longar than his nessary business requires, and no member to leave his seat in cessian of the church without leave of the moderator and to detect any minister of our faith and order who may preach doctrine contrary to the above declaration.
DECLARATION of the faith of the Indian Creek regular baptist Church of Christ Wise County Viorginia
1st  this church shall be known by the name of the Indian Creek regular baptist Church of Christ constituted May the 18th 1867
2nd We believe in one trew and living God as revealed in the scriptures by the naim of father son and Holy Ghost
3rd And that the scriptures of the oald and new testament is the word of God and onley rule of allsaving knowledge and obedience
4th And that man was created upright but has ruend himself from his fallen state he is in so that it is impossible for him to recover himself by his own freewill or ability
5th That we are justifyed onley by the imputed righteousness of Christ and we are rejenerated and sanctifyed by the spirit of God
6th We believe the doctrine of election according to the foarknowledge of God the father through sanctification of the spirit and bolieaf of the trooth
7th And that a trooth God is no respecter of persons but in every nation he that feareth God and workketh righteousness is accepted with him
8th And that the saints will persovere in grace and finally never fall away
9th And that baptism and the Lorsd supper are ordinances of Jesus Christ and believers are the onley subjects proper and immersion is the apostolic mode of baptism

10th And the resurrection of the dead and the general judgment and the punishment of the wicked will be everlasting and the_______________________________________________

We the baptist church of Christ at big glades do now take into consideration the request of our brethern who desire to join too an organization at Indian Creek and form themeselves into a church to give them letters of dismission to wit

Terrel Cox and Franklin Perky was the deacons for the Church when the Church was constituted and William Bond was choosed by the church for their clerk  Daniel H. Riner and Allen Riner joind the church when it was the arn of the Big Glades church and was not baptised tel after the church was constituted.

We the Indian Creek regular baptist church of Christ now in cesssion after public servis opened a church door for the reception of members and receivd none, then a move was made which met with a second and the unanimos concent of the church to ask the Stoney Creek association when conveaned with the little stoangap church to have brother Danel H. Riner ordained to preach the gospel

after public sevis opened a church door for the reception of members and receivd two brother David Mullens was receivd by letter sister Elisabth Mullens was receivd by expearance the church then choosed Hiram H. Killgore for the pastor and Daniel H. Riner for assistant pastor for twelve months

Gardner then called for the fellowship of the church it was thought that thare was a hurt betwean William Bond and Riley Collens from a repoart that was in circulation when they talked together Collens ddenyed the repoart and agreed to satisfy the church which he afterwords denyed the repoart to the church and that settled the repoart that night at night meeting opened a church door for thee reception of members and receivd two William Perry and Caroline Perry
