Located
on Guest River Rd, about a half of a mile from
Guest River Pentecostal Church and about a half of
a mile from the Guest River Rd, and Rockswitch Rd
intersection. This land was owned by Charles
Wesley Carter, he was a methodist minister, he was
married to Hannah Berry in 1822. Shortly after
their marriage Charles was clearing land. As he
chopped a tree, it kicked off the stump and broke
his leg. His leg had to be amputated, he buried
his leg on a hill about a quarter of a mile from
his home. From this a cemetery was started, as the
first person to die in the community was buried
beside Charle's leg. Hannah died in 1854 and
Charles moved to Elloit county, Kentucky where he
later died and was buried. What a story this
cemetery tells a man's leg is buried and about 300
miles away he is buried. Bolling Infant Sharley Faye Bolling 09-27-1977 Lilly Janell Bolling 03-18-1928 -06-01-1957 Roy
