Culbertson Cemetery

 Christine (Robinson) Marshall
Great Grand Daughter of Charles E. and Rebecca Margaret Nash Culbertson

04-05-2003

Location:

From Wise take Rt. 640 past Va. Ky. Fairgrounds just past Green Hollow Rd. before starting down Duncan Gap take a right on Rt. 643 Redwine Rd. for about 2 miles.   Cemetery is located on top of a ridge which was orginally called the (from the info I can gather) Culbertson Place property. A coal company has stripped mined around the cemetery, but it has been reclaimed and a good buffer zone has been left between cemetery and old surface mines. It is surrounded by a wrought iron post fence made by the Stewart Iron Works Co.  Cincinnati, Ohio.
