Carter Family Cemetery

This cemetery is located on Tax Map 31
Parcel 30. The cemetery is located at the end of Norman Road (Route 661). Go to
the end of Norman Road and continue to follow the dirt road that is an extension
of Norman Road for approximately one mile. The cemetery is on the ridge to the
right of the road near the old house site. We visited this cemetery in April
1996 with Charles S. (Picky) Gibson who said that some of his relatives were
buried here. Some of the information for this cemetery was taken from the
Virginia Genealogical Society Quarterly, Vol. 18, No. 2.
