The Copp Family 1906
This photograph was taken in 1906 at the Willow Brook home in Winchester.

John Eli Copp and his wife Joanna Arlena Glaize are seated in the middle surrounded by their children's families. All the same people appear in this photo as the 1893 portrait except there are three people missing and one new addition.

Joanna Barbara Copp and her husband William A. Hockman are missing as well as the young girl that was seated in her mother's lap; that daughter died before 1900. The couple's youngest daughter, Love J. Hockman, was born in 1894 and has been confused with the girl in the 1893 photograph. Love, my great-grandmother, is seated in the front row on the left.

There are two reasons the photo could have been taken:

1. The 50th wedding anniversary for John E. Copp and Joanna Arlena Glaize who married on 17 Jan 1856
2. the death of John and Arlena's daughter Joanna Barbara (Copp) Hockman, who died 19 Nov 1906
