Mr. Thomas and Miss Snyder Married.

At 5.15 o' clock Wednesday morning, April 24, 1901, Mr. Charles R. Thomas and Miss Maria Snyder were married at her home in New Market, Va., Rev. Dr. J.A. Snyder, father of the bride, performing the ceremony. The bride was gowned in a dark blue broadcloth dress with hat to match, and carried bride's roses, whilst the groom was attired in an elegant suit of the conventional style. No invitations were issued, and only the members of the immediate family with a couple of friends witnessed the marriage.

After partaking of a gratifying wedding breakfast, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, accompanied by her sister Miss Ruth Snyder, Miss Ada Pitman, of Woodstock, and Prof. H. K. Barbe, were driven by private conveyance to Mt. Jackson where the happy couple boarded the 7.30 morning train bound for Hagerstown and enroute to Gettysburg to spend Sunday. After remaining a few days on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, they will repair to Woodbury, N. J., which they will reach May 12th where on their arrival they will be tendered a reception at the home of the groom's parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas.

The bride who is pretty and attractive was the recipient of numerous handsome and beautiful gifts. The groom is the traveling representative of Messrs. W.T. Allen & Co., wholesale clothing manufacturers of Philadelphia, and an energetic and efficient salesman who commands a lucrative salary.

We unite with their numerous friends in extending hearty congratulations.
