LINVILLE CEMETERY

Linville, Rockingham County, Virginia

The Linville United Christian Church in Linville was, at one time, the keeper of the Linville Cemetery. The church is directly in front of the cemetery and is still identified with the cemetery. However, the cemetery has not been controlled by the church since around 1954. It now has its own controlling board. The church was built circa 1876, but burned down in 2000. Note: this cemetery is easliy confused with Linville Creek Cemetery - double check your references so as not to be confused between the two.
