I bought Lake's original 1885 Atlas as well as the book with the reduced size now available in bookstores. The copyright has expired. Therefore, I will put the maps online for Shenandoah County. You can print these or save to disk. If you have the software, you can focus on the ancestor of your choice, enlarge just that portion, print on photo paper and frame it for hanging. Or, include the map in a book on your ancestor showing exactly where his/her homesite was located in 1885.

UPDATE: I added Lake's Original Atlas images in very large graphics for pages 6 and 7 which shows Shenandoah and Page counties joined. Also, added pgs 10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,25. The original Lake's Atlas shows blank pages after each map. I have numbered the pages according to number of graphics (10 A is first graphic of page 10; 10 B is 2nd graphic of page 10, etc.).
