Mrs. Beulah Lavina See, aged 61, died last night at 11:20 p.m., at her home near Bartonsville, on Winchester, R.F.D. No. 1. She was born December 6, 1887 in Frederick County, near Minebank, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Mary A. Pangle Stickley. Mrs. See had been in bad health since 1941, becoming more seriously ill in December and had been bedfast for the past 4 weeks. Survivors are her husband, Eston See, and the following children: Ethelyn Riggleman, R-3, Winchester; Cathaleen See at home, Loretta Heflin, White Post; Lydia Rains, Linville, Juridean See, at home, and Myrtle Jenkins, R-3, Winchester; also 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild; also a brother, Turner A. Stickley, Oranda and five sisters, Luna Lowery, Gaithersburg, Md.; Annie L. Hodson, Winchester; Lizzie Hodson, Lebanon Church; Kate McDonald, Oranda, and Effa Kline, Waynesboro, Va. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. Mrs. Beulah Lavina See, wife of Eston See, who died at her home near Bartonsville on March 31, was buried in the Walnut Springs Cemetery on Sunday evening. Funeral rites were held from the Walnut Springs Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. S.J. Goode. The pallbearers were: Thomas Hepner, Nelson Martin, Albert Messick, Curits Coffelt, Roy Coffelt and N.D. Brim. The flower girls were: Nancy Camerson, Shirley and Betty See, Jean and Jane Stover, Alice Sirk, Betty Knighting, Kity LOu Miller, Betty Hodson, Marguerite Helsley and Martha Robinson. |
