GRANT TO ANDREW LINDAMUDE

To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting

Know ye that by virtue of a Warrant Issued from teh late lord Proprietors Office of the Northern Neck and in Consideration of the Ancient Composition of fifteen Shillings Sterling paid by Andrew Lindamude into the Treasury of this Commonwealth, There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto the said Andrew Lindamude a Certain tract or parcel of land, Containing one hundred and fifty Acres by Survey bearing date the fifth day of January one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven, Lying and being in the County of Shanandoh on and near Buck hill and bounded as followeth to wit

Beginning at two pines corner to Michael Burgers Lend, on a Spur of Buckhill and extending thence with his lines South fifty three degrees West one hundred and twenty eight poles to a pine and two Chesnut oaks Standing on the side of Buck hill thence South twenty one degrees West one hundred and sixty eight poles to two Red Oaks and hickory sapling and white oak on the East side of Buck hill thence leaving Burgers line North sixty one degrees West one hundred and twenty six poles to two black Oaks and hickory standing on the West side of Buck hill and near the top of the same North twenty one degrees East sixty poles to a white oak near the top of said hill thence along the spurs of the same North sixty degrees East one hundred and forty eight poles to a Hickory Black Oak and white oak on the end of a Spur thence North three degrees West forty poles to a hickory and two white oaks on a hill thence North sixty degrees East ninety poles to to Locust a red oak and white oak and hickory Saplings and a large white oak in the lind of Christopher Lindamudes Land and thence with his line South fifty Degrees East Sixty four poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, With its appurtenances to the said Andrew Lindamude and his heirs forever.

In witness whereof the said Beverley Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hat hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the Eighteenth day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and eighty nine and of the Commonwealth the fourteenth.
