 This is probably Garnett Painter who was born March 28, 1880 and died August 30, 1960 at Bowmans Crossing. He was the son of Nason and Rebecca Lindamood Painter. He married Mrs. Ida Henkel Bowman on May 23, 1935. She was the daughter of Martin and Ella Bowman Henkel. He is buried in Bethel. Source: "Someone You Knew II" by Judy Coffman Stickley.

 This is probably Jacob Jerome Painter and wife, Clara Rosenberger Painter. J.J. was born May 31, 1879 and died May 19, 1950 in Mt. Jackson. He married Clara, daughter of Christopher and Fannie Watson Rosenberger, on June 4, 1900. Jacob's parents are Levi and Mary Baker Painter. Jacob is buried at St. Johns. Clara was born April 15, 1882 and died January 7, 1966 in Mt. Jackson and is buried in St. Johns. Her obit listed one brother, Edgar Rosenberger of Edinburg.
