Helen Virginia Shell Samuels (1956-2011)

Helen Virginia Shell Samuels, age 55, a resident of Strasburg, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Bryan Center Health & Rehabilitation in Fincastle, Virginia.

A funeral service for Mrs. Samuels will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Fred Mauck officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.

She was born in Winchester, Virginia on January 9, 1956, a daughter of the late Carmen Luttrell and Mary Catherine Neff Shell.

Survivors include her dog, Sheba; her children, Theresa Gail Deavers, Victoria Lynn Deavers, and Benjamin Charles Deavers; her siblings, Jo Ann McChesney of Edinburg, Allen Wesley Kibler of Strasburg, and Roberta Lynn Kibler of Wardensville; her step-father, Ronald Coleman Kibler of Fishers Hill; nephew, J.R. King and wife Brandy and their children, Courtney and Kayson of Strasburg; niece, Krystle Kibler of Arizona; her uncle, Mickie Kline and wife Bonnie of Oranda.

Pallbearers will be Allen Kibler, Tommy Kibler, Josh Clowser, Mark Hebb, Jody Bauserman, and Scott Zirk.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
