Arthur James Sager

Arthur James Sager, age 47, a resident of Strasburg passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Lynn Care Center of Front Royal.

A graveside service for Mr. Sager will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Lebanon Church Cemetery with Pastor Dave Casto officiating.

He was born in Woodstock, Virginia on September 23, 1962 the son of Henry M. Sager and Erma Jean Hoover. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhart, Jr. was his favorite driver, and was a faithful supporter of the Washington Redskins.

Survivors include his father, Henry Maxwell Sager and wife Shadah Sager of Strasburg; his mother, Erma Jean Hoover of Toms Brook; sisters, Mary Ellen Powers and husband, John of New Jersey, and Delores Pangle and husband Dale of Strasburg; one brother, Sam Sager and wife, Kelly of Toms Brook; step sister, Carolyn Wines and husband, Larry of Toms Brook; step brother Mike Carper of Strasburg: nephews and nieces, Trevor Sager, Jason Sager, Johnny Powers, Jenna Wines, Jessica Jenkins, Abbi Ryman, Tyler Pedersen, Timmy Pedersen, Chad Pangle, and Travis Pangle.
