Died.

William Walker Kingan departed this life at his home in New Market, Va., May 17, 1901, after an illness of five or six weeks.

He was born April 5, 1855, and was aged 46 years, 1 month, and 12 days. He leaves to sorrow over his departure three children and two brothers, besides a number of near relatives and friends. The deceased was an excellent, upright citizen, a fond father, and a devoted husband. The community will miss him, for he was careful to do what would please his neighbors. His wife preceded him to the spirit world by one year and ten days.

The body was laid to rest in Emmanuel graveyard beside his wife to await the morning of the resurrection. Funeral services by Rev. E. H. Kohn, assisted by Dr. J. A. Snyder.
