Died on the 15th of April (1874) near Forestville Mrs. Rebecca Kerlin, aged eighty four years --- months. How true it is, we know not what a day may bring forth! A little while ago, and Mother Kerlin was among us:----yet now she is numbered with the dust. Mother Kerlin, was a member of the Lutheran church for a number of years. The sacrament of the Lord's Supper was administered to her by the Rev. Bennick a few days before her death. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord for they rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.
