Death of Mr. Geo. W. Shaeffer, Jr.

At 12 o'clock noon, Wednesday, March 13, 1901, Mr. George W., son of Mr. George W. Shaeffer, Sr., departed this life at his father's home, four miles east of New Market, Va., in his 38th year. After an illness of several years and confinement to the house since last November, consumption caused his death.

He was unmarried, and is survived by his father and mother, six brothers, and three sisters. His funeral will take place from Cedar Grove church with interment in its cemetery, meeting at the house at nine o' clock tomorrow morning. Elder J. B. McInturff, of Strasburg, Va., has been summoned to officiate at the funeral, and is expected to arrive here tonight. The deceased was a most excellent young man whose death will be mourned by numerous kindred and acquaintances.
