Death of Mrs. Berkeley Shaffer.

Elder Perry Shaffer received a telegram last Saturday morning from his son Mr. Berkeley Shaffer, of Springfield, Ohio, announcing the sad intelligence that the wife of the latter Mrs. Etta Shaffer had died in that city that morning. The deceased had been ill for some weeks, and was aged about thirty years. It will be recalled that Mr. Shaffer removed from this vicinity to Ohio about fourteen years ago where he married about two years afterwards. The deceased is survived by her husband and two children respectively eight and five years of age. Mr. Shaffer, wife, and child visited his parents in this vicinity about five years ago, and her untimely death will be heard of with regret by his relatives and friends in this section.
