Death of Mr. W.W. Harloe.

After a very brief illness, Mrs. Walter W. Harloe died at her home at Hayfield, Frederick county, Va., Tuesday night, February 26, 1901, in the 26th year of her age.

She was in Winchester last Saturday, and though complaining her death was wholly unexpected. Her remains were brought to Quicksburg today, Thursday, on the noon train, and were interred in Cedar Grove cemetery, on the Valley turnpike, several miles north of this place. {New Market}

The funeral was preached by Rev. Walter Yount (of the German Baptist church), of Bridgewater, to a large and sympathizing congregation of relatives and friends.

The deceased was Miss Annie C. Cox ("Kittie") and was married at the home of her uncle Elder B. W. Neff, near Mt. Jackson, to Mr. Walter W. Harloe, of Concord, W. Va., Sept. 28, 1898. They lived a while at that place, and in 1899, they purchased a farm at Gore, Frederick county, Va., where they have since resided.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. Henry Cox, who died when she was quite young, and she was reared in the family of her uncle Elder B. W. Neff. Besides her husband, Mrs. Harloe leaves two brothers Mr. Walter Cox, of near Quicksburg, Va., and Prof. John M. Cox, of Lordsburg, Cal.

We understand the parents of Mr. Harloe and a brother and sister attended the funeral.

Her husband was a traveling salesman for the Graichen Glove Co., of Winchester.
