Aldine Louis Kibler
[NOTE-The writer of the following notice sent it several weeks ago; but its appearance was necessarily delayed on account of other matter-a notice of the death, however, having previously been given. -Editors.] Mr. Aldine Lewis Kibler died of consumption, at his home, near Mt. Clifton, Shenandoah county, Va., May 16, 1897; aged 33 years and 23 days. In December, 1892, he was married to Miss Lucy A. Minnich, youngest daughter of Mr. And Mrs. George Minnich, who made him a most excellent wife, and cared for him all through life, even to the very last moment of his life, as he had been in delicate health ever since they were married. To them were born three children, two living and one infant being buried only five weeks ago. Mr. Kibler was a member of the Lutheran church. He was married, confirmed, and his funeral preached by Rev. J. P. Stirewalt. He was a man whose word was as good as his bond. The things of this life we cannot understand. We cannot understand why it was that he was taken away from his family, and from his new home which is now being well fixed; but "God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform." Who cannot help shed a tear of sympathy for the widow and two fatherless children. He leaves a mother and many other near relatives and friends. His funeral was preached in Solomon's church, and after a large congregation viewed him, and the last kiss was given him by his wife and two dear little children, he was laid to rest. A FRIEND. |
