Aldine Louis Kibler

Aldine Louis Kibler was born April 23d, 1864, and died at his home near Mt. Clifton, Shenandoah County, Va., May 16, 1897; aged 33 years and 23 days.

The subject of this notice had been in feeble health for some time. If devotion on the part of family and friends could have restored health he would yet be living. All was done for him that could be done. He entered the marriage relation with Miss Lucy A. Minnick on December 22, 1892, and became the devoted father of three children, one preceding him to the spirit world. On the 24th day of April, 1897, he was admitted to full communion with the Evangelical Lutheran church, having been baptized in infancy. For a number of years he taught in our public schools with efficiency and satisfaction. He was a dutiful son and brother, a true husband, a good neighbor and citizen. His friends were many. He bore his sufferings without a murmur. A large congregation followed his remains to the grave. We trust he enjoys forever the rest in that beautiful land that is fairer than day of which he sang on Friday before his departure on Saturday. His mother, brothers, sisters, wife, two children and a number of other relatives and friends survive him. May God in mercy comfort and bless them all. J.P.S.
