Ray H. Heare

Romney, W Va. -- Ray Herman Heare, 74, died Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 1, 1911, in Higginville, he was the son of the late Herman Heare and Salema (Haines) Heare. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of the Church of Nazerine here. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mildred L. (Good) Heare; two sons, David Lee Heare; Fred D. Heare; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Johnston and Mrs. Lena Combs; Mrs. Irene Hamrich; two brothers, James Heare; Alva Heare; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McKee Funeral Home in Augusta Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
