Mabel Virginia Weatherholtz, 89, Quicksburg, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at the Life Care Center in New Market.

  Mrs. Weatherholtz was born Nov. 19, 1907, in Jerome and was a daughter of the late Jerome Paul and Lottie Williams Strawderman.

  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Forestville.

  On Oct. 28, 1928, she married Claude Miller Weatherholtz, who died Aug. 1, 1973.

  Surviving are one son, Clyde B. Weatherholtz; and two sisters, Bernice Branner and Hazel Jerafik.

  Pastor Harold Emswiler will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mount Jackson. Burial will be at the Forestville Cemetery.

  The family will receive friends 7-8 this evening at the funeral home.

  Memorial donations may be made to the New Market Volunteer Rescue Squad.
