Mrs. Noah Reid

MT. JACKSON,   Feb. 7 (1957)  --  Mrs. Mary Ellen Reid, 67,  wife  of  Noah  J.  Reid  and  a resident of the Moore's Store  section  died  at  her  home this morning about 8:30. She had been critically ill for about six weeks.

  She  was   born  near  Moore's  Store  on  Oct. 7, 1889, a daughter of the late  Eli  and Amanda Weatherholtz.   She was a lifelong member of Solomon's Lutheran Church.

  Besides  her  husband  she  is  survived  by  the following children:  Mrs. Amanda Baker and Floyd Reid, both of Mt. Jackson;  Guy  Reid  of Quicksburg;  and Pauline Reid,  at home.   She  also  leaves  one  brother, V.L. Weatherholtz. Sixteen   grandchildren  and  13  great  grandchildren  also survive.

  Funeral  services  will  be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:00 from  Solomon's  Lutheran  Church.   Her pastor,  the Rev.  John A. Sanders  will have charge of the services and burial will be in the church cemtery.

  Pallbearers  will  be:    Turner  A.  Long,  Harry  Harpine, Raymond  Garber,  Wilmer  Williams,  Allen  Golladay and Ray Martz.

  The body is now at the Dellinger funeral chapel here and will  be placed  in the  church Sunday  afternoon at 1:00 to lie in state until the hour of the services.

  Relatives are asked to meet at Floyd Reid's home here at 1:45 Sunday afternoon.
