Claude Miller Weatherholtz, 69, of Quicksburg, died Wednesday morning in Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson, the Rev. Harold F. Fuller Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Forestville Cemetery, Quicksburg.

  Mr. Weatherholtz was born Sept. 23, 1903, in New Market, son of the late Virgil and Molly Knupp Weatherholtz. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, New Market.

  He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mabel V. Strawderman; one son, Clyde B. Weatherholtz; six brothers, James Weatherholtz and William Weatherholtz of Mt. Jackson, Alfred Weatherholtz and Leonard Weatherholtz of New Market, Robert Weatherholtz of Quicksburg and Mark Weatherholtz of Lyndhurst.

  Pallbearers will be Bryan Jones, Joseph Shaver, Everette Getz, George Baker, Glenn Wellard and Guy Harpine.

  The family will meet at the funeral home Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
