I John Stinson of the County of Russell and State of Virginia being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
My will is that all my just debts if there be any after my decease, and funeral expenses shall be paid by my daughter Eliza Stinson so soon after my decease as shall be by her found convenients. For and in consideration of the devotion and valuable services given and rendered to me in my old age and last days of weakness and decrepitude, by my daughter Eliza Stinson, I give and divise to her my home where I now live, embracing my home land and all the lands of which I shall die seized and posessed to have and to hold the same for and during the term of her natural life & dispose of a smay seem to her discreet and proper in witness whereof I the said John Stinson have to this my last will and testament, subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the twenty eighth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty nine.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said John Stinson as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his oresence, and in the presence of each other have subscibed our names as witnesses thereto.

At a County Court held for Russell County on the 3rd day of December 1889. The last will and testament of John Stinson was produced in Court & proven by the oath of Geo W. Jessee one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and admitted to probate and thereupon Robert Stinson the Executor named in said will entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of Two Hundred Dollars together with Jack Carter & H. Ashbrook as his security thereto, conditioned according to law and there upon he took the oath prescribed by law, Letters of probate is therefore granted him upon said estate in due form.
