I John Justice of Russell County and State of Virginia, do herby make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say
1st I desire that after me & my wife Elizabeth Justice deceast that all my slaves or servent so called and there offsprings be free forever namely Siller Hannah Richard Peter Moses Douglas Katy Jane Elizabeth Nathan Paton Harry & Simeon be forever free. Then I desire that the above named servents to have all my lands.
2d I desire that after all my just debts if there be any is paid then I desire Hiram Justice Jarett Justice Edmund P. Justice my sones & allso Joseph Bentley, William Mullens P. my sone an law & there ayres forever to have remainder of my property to be equeal divided betwean them except two dollars apeace for the other ayres
Lastly I do hereby constitute & apoint my friend Daniel Dotson executor of this my last Testament by me heretofore made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & fix my seal this 31st day of May in the yeare of our Lord 1850.

At a Circuit Court continued and held for Russell County at the Courthouse on the 18th day of September 1850.
This instrument of writing which had been offered for probat in the County Court, and refused to be admitted to record, from which the executor therein appealed to the court being proved to the satisfaction of this Court to be the testament Will as required by law, the order of the County Court was recorded and the will admitted to record in this Court, and on the motion of Daniel Dotson the executor therein named who made oath, and together with William Robinson, James Robinson and William B. Aston his securities, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $1000.00 ___ according to law, certificate is granted him for obtaining probat of the said will in due form.
